Rain boots are a fun way to take any drab day to a fab day. I've discovered these in the Fall 2011 RTW lines this year and have been waiting to gush about them.
This is the epitome of couture in a rain boot. A shin-rise boot in lacquered crimson, a 1 1/2 in. platform and 5 1/2 in. chunky heel it's amazing.

Alexandre Birman's Fall/Winter collection had lots of platforms, animal skin and splashes of crimson color. I thought these had a strong vibe about them and had to post them.
